BiographyHistory

Elizabeth Brennan was born in Sydney, New South Wales but has lived in Perth since 1975. She is the great-niece of Christopher Brennan, a renowned Australia poet, and has five adult children and five grandchildren.

A Pastoral Associate at Girrawheen Catholic Parish from 1983 to 2001, she has worked as a Senior Supervisor with the Education section of Relationships Australia, having been involved with personal and professional development and relationship education for more than 25 years.

Since retiring from full-time work in 2001, which has afforded her a little more time, Brennan has taken up writing. A passion she has held for many years, she has successfully published numerous articles, poems and short stories in various magazines and journals, many of which have been awarded prizes.
