An advertisement for various books for sale. The titles are mostly by English authors and include Charles Darwin's Variation of Animals and Plants under Domestication and Debrett's Peerage (1868). One US title and a translation of Max Havelaar; or, The Coffee Auctions of the Dutch Trading Company are also available.

The advertisement notes the arrival of the 'February Part' of the Illustrated London News and provides terms for subscription.
