AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A column praising the recital by Walter Montgomery at the School of Arts on 24 February 1868. Items performed included several scenes from the works of William Shakespeare, Edgar Allan Poe's 'The Bell', Horace Smith's 'Address to an Egyptian Mummy' and Charles Dickens's 'Bloomsbury Wedding'.
