  • This advertisement includes news of the first Sydney appearance of 'the celebrated tragedian' Walter Montgomery 'in his great impersonation of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark' in Shakespeare's Hamlet. The performance of Hamlet, together with John Maddison Morton's A Thumping Legacy is advertised for 3 February 1868 at the Prince of Wales Opera House.
