Luigi Acquisto is an Australian film-maker. He has produced multiple documentaries, often with social justice or political themes. These include Trafficked (2011), the first documentary to explore sex trafficking in an Australian context. Acquisto has made four documentaries about East Timor since the their historic vote for independence from Indonesia in 1999.
