1 y separately published work icon My Dog Socks Robyn Osborne , Sadami Konchi (illustrator), Ormond : Ford Street , 2018 11571609 2018 single work picture book children's

'Join Socks in his secret world, where imagination rules and the everyday becomes extraordinary. While most people think Socks is just an ordinary dog, through a child’s eyes he becomes an enchanted character of many disguises – a chameleon who changes with his environment. One day he’s a contented cow rolling in grass, the next a sleek seal basking on rocks, or even a terrible tiger, sprinting from hunters and searching for prey.

'Regardless of his many guises however, Socks offers a dog’s unconditional love and loyalty, for ‘when he is by my side, he is my best friend’. ' (Publication summary)

'The Year I Went From Shelter Oldie to my Forever Home My diary follows the trials and tribulations as I adjust to life outside the shelter that had been my home for many satisfying years. Being fostered and playing happy pet families was not something 'The Bones' had planned on. While you can indeed teach old dogs new tricks we don't take kindly to change. If this fostering business was not difficult enough for an aged terrier, I was far from pleased when a large and unwanted kennel companion from the shelter was soon to join me at my new abode. Life with my new humans was fraught with difficulties. Having been top dog at the shelter for many years, I was not accustomed to such close human interactions. It was going to be a year full of surprises and unexpected discoveries for the Bones.' (Publication summary)
