F.J. Dunleavy was a late 19th and earlier 20th century Australian Labor figure and journalist. He worked as a shearer in western New South Wales and Queensland for about a decade during the 1880s and 1890s, and subsequently became involved in mining and journalism. He travelled widely and appears to have been living in the United States at the time of his death. Further biographical details remain to be established.
