BiographyHistory

AC/DC are an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in 1973 by Scottish-born brothers Malcolm and Angus Young. Lead singer Bon Scott died shortly after the release of their breakthrough album, Highway to Hell, and although the band considered disbanding, they continued with new lead singer Brian Johnson.

Apart from a brief haitus after the Rock or Bust tour in 2016 (and the absence of some key members through illness on that tour), have toured and/or recorded steadily since 1973.
