AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'The Bhel Sea: A brackish haven for opportunists, lined with coral and bones after centuries of conflict. Korsar pirates hold it with a bloody grasp from their keep on the volcanic island of Ashenborg.

'Johannes, an apprentice scribe on Ashenborg, knows that surviving means looking the other way. But while exploring a wrecked ship, he hears a girl calling to him from among the bodies. He rescues her from the Korsar and they become fugitives.

'Jhared is the leader of the Elaan, a decimated tribe of warriors caught between an invading horde and internal power struggles with the Temple. He refuses to submit to the Blood God’s priests, but because he will no longer risk his tribe in a futile war, he faces exile for himself and the Elaan.

'Anna, a nobleman’s daughter, is trapped into serving the man who killed her parents. Her sisters held hostage, Anna is forced to spy for him. She survives, an exile in her own mind, always seeking a way to return home. Three journeys, one story.'
