BiographyHistory

Dion Boucicault was an Irish actor and playwright who found international success in the mid to late-1890s with his melodramas. A number of his works were produced in Australia, with some also being burlesqued. His son Dion Boucicault (Jnr) was also associated with Australia for many years.
