BiographyHistory

Multi-purpose arts and cultural centre in Eveleigh, Sydney.

Carriageworks is known for liver performances and art exhibitions. In May 2020, Carriageworks called in administrators after the coronavirus pandemic and government mandates on public gatherings resulted in the cancellation of six months of events, causing what a spokesperson called an irreparable loss of income. The administrators' initial intention was to try and stabilise Carriageworks' financial position and keep the venue viable.
