Review of the Royal Victoria Theatre [Sydney] April 1838 production of the play. The reviewer states that his ‘best energies shall be devoted, and we shall spare neither space nor labour in our efforts to raise the drama to the proud position it was originally intended to occupy.’ The review includes comment on the actors' performances.
