BiographyHistory

Curtis Drenen took over the management of the Rutherglen Sun and Chiltern Valley Advertiser from his father Thomas Drenen in the early 1930s.

A member of the Victorian Provincial Press Association, Drenen was also involved with the Rutherglen Show Society, and local cricket and football clubs. Drenen was a Justice of the Peace, a deputy Coroner and a member of the Holy Name Society.
