BiographyHistory

Caroline Jones edited the Pastoral Times following the death of her husband, Dr David Griffith Jones. Her editorial role began in 1876 and concluded with her own death in 1880. Noting her death, the Bulletin wrote that 'New South Wales has lost its only female editor' (7 February 1880). Jones may also have had an editorial association with the Riverine Advertiser.
