The Editor of the Sydney Monitor and the Liberty of the Press, single work column

This column refers to an article, The Liberty of the Press Endangered, published in the Sydney Monitor, 4 April 1838. It also alludes to the objection by the New South Wales attorney general, John Hubert Plunkett, to serving as a steward with the editor of the Sydney Gazette, George Cavenagh, at the 1838 St Patrick's Day Ball in Sydney, New South Wales.
