''The Book of Loco' is a revealing, hilarious and destabilising theatrical experience. Alirio Zavarce writes and stars in a semi-autobiographic demonstration of his ‘Theory of Rational Madness’. Interweaving tales of his personal journeys – both geographical and emotional – Zavarce will leave you lucidly confused and highly amused. With the audience’s willing participation, he gives credence to the paradox that sometimes you have to be mad to stay sane.
Winner of the Best Theatre Production award at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe Festival, 'The Book of Loco' bravely and publicly - re-enacts one man’s duel with his own sanity.' (Source: Malthouse website)
