A poem purportedly written by a small-town former Polish Communist Party member who, unhappy with the fall of Communism in Poland, plans to sail to Pauline Hanson's Australia, in the belief that Hanson will, like the Polish Communist government, 'look after the people'.

The poem is presented (satirically) as a letter from 'Korespondent [correspondent] Ignacy Skrzydełko', a retired former Communist Party member from 'Błotnica Szlachecka', to the recipient, Feliks Krotowicz, who has forwarded it to the Polish Kurier. The author is clearly Krotowicz. Błotnica Szlachecka is a fictitious place name presumably modelled on actual Polish place names such as 'Błotnica Strzelecka'. It means Noble Short-eared Owl.
