BiographyHistory

John Richardsom McWilliam ran the Western Post in Mudgee before re-locating to Coonamble and establishing the Coonamble Times and Castlereagh Newspaper. McWilliam was still proprietor and editor of the Coonamble Times (the successor to the Coonamble Times and Castlereagh Newspaper) when he died in 1916. At that time, the Sydney Morning Herald described McWilliam as the 'oldest pressman in the west'.
