A romance with thriller elements, typical of stage melodramas.

Phyllis Weston, a wealthy, high-society girl, is being simultaneously courted by affable Jack Stacey and villainous Robson. Robson attempts to rid himself of his rival by, first, sabotaging his boat during a yacht race and, second, convincing his sister to trap Jack in a compromising situation. Both attempts fail.
