For twenty years, Eddy has worked on a fishing trawler by day and moonlighted as a standover man by night, seeking extra money to full his wife's social aspirations. Now, with his relationship with his teenage daughter strained, he sends his sidekick in to read her diary. It's all part of what Eddy's willing to do to keep his family together.
