BiographyHistory

Poet, Author and Artist, Magda Palmer-Cordingley 'from the age of 8 years Magda wrote rhyming and metred verse, and earned pocket money through sketches for Sunday children's sections of newspapers. As a teenager she studied many theatre with The Independent Theatre School in North Sydney, then pursued a media oriented career in the UK where she studied Mime with Nathaniel from Adam Darius School of Mime and Ballet, singing techniques with Janet Howe, Laurie Media and Voice Production with Jean Wynne Scott. This led to a full time career working reviews, pantomimes, Music Hall, London Fringe, the Young Vic, the Edinburgh Festival, and provincial theatres. Magda was the weekly presenter for nearly 5 years to Britain's longest running TV documentary "This Week in Britain. Then Magda's writing career began.' (Source: Book Creators Circle website)
