'Elizabeth Kleinhenz was born in Melbourne. For 35 years she had a career with the Victorian Education Department as a teacher of English, History and German, and as an assistant principal and education consultant. In 2001, Kleinhenz joined the Australian Council for Educational Research, and worked as a senior research fellow.'
