Louise Curham's background is in fine arts and film and audiovisual archives. She has worked in government information management at the National Archives. In 2012 she was a Graduate Diploma of Information Management student at Edith Cowan University,Western Australia and from October to December 2012 did an internship at the Lu Rees Archives of Australian Children's Literature, Australian Capital Territory.
