BiographyHistory

Gerald M. Hayle was an Australian film director and screenwriter. He initially established himself in Melbourne making industrial and advertising films before moving into feature film production in 1927 with Environment (as director). He followed this with The Rushing Tide (1927, as producer/director screenwriter) and Tiger Island (1930, as director/screenwriter). None of these films were successful commercially.
