Wrirting about his latest novel, The Hamelin Plague, Chandler talks about his decision to base the story on mutated rats and include a nudist club sequence. He also provides some insight into his relationship with publishing company Cavill. Although its editor didn't like the first two chapters, resulting in 'an exchange of slightly acrimonious correspondence,' the finished work was eventually accepted. The article also includes an extract from Chapter 20.
