BiographyHistory

William Kernot Shenton and Charles Macfaull formed a partnership to publish the Fremantle Observer, Perth Gazette and Western Australian Journal in 1831. The partnership was dissolved after the third issue of the newspaper. Edmund Stirling may also have been involved in this partnership or in the leasing of the small Ruthven Press the newspaper was printed on.
