BiographyHistory

Greta Scacchi was born in Milan to an English mother and an Italian father. She moved to Australia in 1975 with her mother and her mother's second husband. An actress of international repute, Scachhi has appeared in film and television shows produced in Australia, the UK and elsewhere. Although living in various countries, including England, Scacchi became an Australian citizen in 1995. She is also a citizen of the UK and Italy.
