'Billie Rooney is an environmental educator and writer who is inspired by children’s curiosity about the world around them. Billie loves the magic of rivers, mountains, wide open spaces and the sea, which inspires her pictures books and middle grade fiction. She is a member of SCBWI, ASA, CBCA and Writers NSW' (CSIRO)
