'The Roof is Caving In is a collision of Australian Gothic, Picasso & the uncontrollable urge to say “sorry” when you run into a chair. Hester and Bronwyn are people pleasers at the mercy of the landscape around them: A tiny studio apartment with two trundle beds and a lot of ‘character’.
'Fresh out of school, fresh out of home and in their first ever share house. As the two apartment dwellers desperately try to make this small space a home, they are met with unforeseeable circumstances and have to navigate the repercussions of constantly compromising to avoid confrontation.
'A work of surreal theatrical grandeur that features a live multi-instrumentalist quintet.' (Production summary)
