'Young kangaroo Millie is born with a terrible illness that keeps her in her mother's pouch for 14 months. However after finally awakening she leaves her home of Gum Tree Gully in complete awe as they realise that she is blessed with two perfectly crafted sapphire gems as her eyes. Millie gains strength to share a normal childhood with all the other animal children of Gum tree Gully however her world is tipped upside down when a terrible event hits her village. Struggling to come to terms with the enormity of the event, Millie decides to go on a thrilling but extremely dangerous adventure in search for what is believed to be her destiny of The Sapphire Falls.
