BiographyHistory

'Anthony Harkness only recently discovered that writing about boyhood adventures in Maroubra was a lot more fun than writing policy documents and compliance procedures for educational authorities. Holding degrees in economics, education and theology partly explains his fascination with the sweet mysteries of life and budgetary spreadsheets. His first poem about 'wine wisdom' led him to the national finals of the 2021 Spoken Word Competition. Just a South Sydney Lad is his first novel. He lives with Shelley, his artistic muse, painter and partner on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. If he's not trying to break ninety in a round of golf, he is trying to work out who was the better band - The Moody Blues or Supertramp?' (New Found Books)
