AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Michaell Brissenden reflects on a journey he took with his father, R. F. Brissenden, in 1989, through the former Yugoslavia and Sicily. During the research trip, Brissenden recorded some of his father's thoughts. 'I wanted to explore his motivations, his loves, his expectations ... Had it been a good life? Did he have any regrets?' Brissenden notes that his father was a 'reluctant participant' in the exercise.
