AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Loosely inspired by the writings of Edgar Allen Poe, LENORE is a stripped-down, tense and terrifying thriller about isolation and obsession. The film centres on Max Wren; a lonely, shut-in filmmaker in the midst of making a documentary about the beloved and infamous online performance artist Lenore, who has recently gone missing. As Max digs deeper into her work and life, he unravels certain painful truths about both Lenore and himself that threaten to destabilise his entire world, and push him over the edge into a guilt-ridden madness.'
