AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Tom Hanson is a slacker. Working as a travel journalist for World News, Robert Murphy’s media empire, Tom has no problem spending his time rewriting marketing bumf from the agencies and sipping pina coladas by the pool in his signature Hawaiian shirt. But all good things come to an end, and Tom is much too soon confronted by the prospect of unemployment as the decision is made to close his magazine down in the annual cull. Spurred into action, he does what any red-blooded journalist would do, and tries to find a rich, compelling story full of human interest that will save his bacon. By scanning the 4Chan conspiracy website for any hot tips. Wading through reams of Pedo Democrats exposès and Anal Probe personal accounts, he’s about to give up in despair when he finds what he’s looking for. Gold.'  (Publication summary)
