BiographyHistory

'Originally from Adelaide, Ele graduated from NIDA in 2013 and was awarded The Australian Voice Association’s Student Encouragement Award. In 2014, Ele was awarded a scholarship to travel to London where she trained with world-renowned Nadine George on Shakespeare’s Text and the Voice. In 2019, she travelled to Chicago to study and perform with the pioneers of long-form improvisation, iO Theater, as well as being a guest performer at Second City.

'Ele is a regular performer with Improv Theatre Sydney and very own improv duo The Newlyweds. She has worked on both screen and stage, including with some of Australia’s leading theatre companies. This work has seen her travel across the country and internationally, performing in classical and contemporary productions, including the State Theatre Company of South Australia’s critically acclaimed Neighbourhood Watch alongside Miriam Margolyes. Ele has toured with Bell Shakespeare as part of The Players and as part of Poetry In Action’s touring ensemble. While at Bell Shakespeare, she also appeared as Helena in their main stage production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

'Eleanor’s screen credits include Rake as well as various commercials, short films, and online content.
