BiographyHistory

'Julia Jarel is a Creative Writing PhD student at The University of Western Australia. Her current research investigates contemporary women of the Western Australian wheatbelt and their concepts of home, belonging and landscape. Julia has collaboratively written and directed numerous research-based theatre works inspired by sites including Rottnest Island, Kulin and Hale School’s Memorial Hall.
