'Every family has a secret. Some are prepared to kill for it.

'Former police officer and teacher, Henry Herbert, must give a eulogy for his uncle, Graham. An uncle he hasn’t seen for fifteen years. An uncle his estranged relatives knew far better.

'There’s a reason Graham chose Henry, the truth buried within a list of items for the funeral. All straightforward requests, except the last: Find Lillian. Nobody claims to know any Lillian in Graham’s past. Henry can tell they’re lying, curiosity piqued.

'Henry arrives in Margaret River to prepare for the funeral, eager to unravel a mystery Graham was on the cusp of solving. But as he and his wife, Lucy, get closer to the truth, they find themselves fighting for their lives, unsure who to trust. It seems Henry’s family will do anything to protect their secrets, and they haven’t been afraid to kill before.
