'Teddy Portaminni is a Tiwi elder who worked as a schoolteacher for many years. He is founder and owner of Tarntipi Bush Camp, training visitors to the Tiwi Islands in cross-cultural awareness and Tiwi culture. Teddy also sits on the Tiwi Land Council.' (Tiwi Story)
