'Roanna Gonsalves is the award-winning author of The Permanent Resident (2016), published in India as Sunita De Souza Goes to Sydney, which won the 2018 Multicultural NSW Award as part of the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards and was longlisted for the 2018 Dobbie Literary Award.
