BiographyHistory

'Dr Kay Are is a poet and visual artist with conceptual, multimodal and bilingual interests. She works as a lecturer in learning design in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Melbourne, where she also taught Creative Writing and Spanish and Latin American Studies for over a decade. She researches feminist, materialist and posthumanist thought and creative arts practices and has published in Cordite, Meanjin, HEAT, Stilts, Ctrl+v and Southerly.'
