'Dr Bronwyn Lovell is a lecturer in creative writing at the University of South Australia. Her poetry has appeared in anthologies including Best Australian Poems, Australian Love Poems, and Borderless: A transnational anthology of feminist poetry, as well as journals including Meanjin, Southerly, Antipodes, and Strange Horizons. She has won the Arts Queensland Val Vallis Award and was runner-up in the inaugural RMIT/Giramondo Speculate Prize. She has been shortlisted for the Dorothy Hewett Award, Judith Wright Poetry Prize, Fair Australia Prize, Newcastle Poetry Prize, Bridport Prize, and Montreal International Poetry Prize. Her science-fiction verse novel Between Worlds is forthcoming from the University of Western Australia Publishing, and her poetry collection In Bed with Animals is published by Recent Work Press.'
