BiographyHistory

'Passionate about storytelling in all its forms, Donyale has been lucky enough to work across disciplines as a writer. She has told micro-stories in adverts, taken people on exotic holidays with her in travel magazines, and won a writers’ grant for her feature screenplay, Feast - A Cautionary Tale. She is currently working on a literary memoir, which won two awards at the Festival of Writing in York (UK) in 2015. Most recently, she wrote, produced and directed her first play, The Smallest Unit of Grief, as part of The Circuit at Busselton Fringe 2019.'
