BiographyHistory

Progressive rock band. First formed as the Sebastian Hardie Blues Band, they later settled on 'Sebastian Hardie' when they moved to a more, firstly, pop and, later, progressive rock sound.

Early members included Graham Ford, John Bellamy, Dennis Laughlin, Richard Lillico, and Syd Richmond. Later, Ford recruited members from Cabramatta High School, including Jon English. This version of the band was Johnny O'Keefe's backing band in 1969.

English left the band in 1971 to take the role of Judas Iscariot in Jesus Christ Superstar.
