BiographyHistory

Sons of the Vegetal Mother were an occasional 'special occasion' esoteric band formed by Russ Wilson and Ross Hannaford in Melbourne in late 1969. The T.F. Much Ballroom in Fitzroy was one of their major venues and they were prominent on the Fitzroy and inner-city circuit. They later founded Daddy Cool as a side project which eclipsed their parent band, and Sons of the Vegetal Mother was disbanded to pursue Daddy Cool.
