AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Welcome aboard, passengers, and please forgive the minor time dilation (yet again). It’s perhaps not widely known that viable, definitely-fully- pressured spacecraft like those maintained by Andromeda Spaceways require a solid pilot and co-pilot relationship, in particular to handle the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. In so far as piloting is still needed in this fully automated AI-driven future, Shelly and I piloted this issue in two distinct chunks: Shelly selected the stories, and then when real life got in the way, I took the steering column, glued it back on, and held it aimed at the interstellar teleporter (at least I think that’s what it was) until a welcoming docking clunk made the lights dim slightly.'
