BiographyHistory

Formed from short-lived band Bug Eyed Monsters, The Hummingbirds debuted with the single 'Alimony' in 1986.

They disbanded in 1993, but reformed to play the 2011 Big Day Out, two shows (with The Falling Joys) in 2016, and a final concert as part of a tribute concert to The Cure in 2017. After singer-guitarist Simon Holmes' death in 2017, a tribute night was played, including the release of a limited-edition, self-titled vinyl LP.
