BiographyHistory

The Moodists were an Australian post-punk band, formed in late 1980 by Dave Graney (lead vocals), Clare Moore (drums), and Steve Miller (guitar). Later members included Chris Walsh (bass) and Mick Turner (guitar). According to Graney, The Moodists were part of the St Kilda scene in Melbourne. The band formed out of the dissolution of Graney, Moore, and Miller's Adelaide-based band Sputniks, but was not formed until the three members had moved to Melbourne.

They issued their sole studio album, Thirsty's Calling, in April 1984.
