BiographyHistory

'Lucy is an early childhood educator and lives in Sydney with her husband, daughter and cat. She was born in England and grew up in Hong Kong, so her family is spread out all over the globe. This distance grew larger when the pandemic caused borders to close a few months after the birth of her daughter. She found herself trying to help her parents build a relationship with their first granddaughter from afar and one day, she held her phone camera up to her daughter as she played during a video call, and the idea for her first children’s picture book was born. Lucy believed that picture books provide comfort to children and hopes to continue writing books that will help children make sense of our big and confusing world.'
