Rock band originally formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1975. Members Beeb Birtles, Graeham Goble, and Derek Pellicci, in the UK for other projects at the time, met with Glenn Wheatley in late 1974 in London to discuss the possibility of forming a new band under Wheatley's management. In early 1975, the group reconvened with Wheatley in Melbourne, and brought on Glenn Shorrock as a vocalist, playing their first show at Martini's Hotel in Carlton. The band achieved commercial success in both Australia and the United States: nine singles appeared in the top 20, with 'Help Is on Its Way' (1977) their only no. 1 hit.
The band is currently still active, though none of the current members are either original members or were members during the 1970s.
