'Ghost-hunter, YouTube host and part-time university history tutor, Matt Cavanagh, returns to his hometown of Ballydoon for Halloween.
He’s racing a ghost-hunting rival to get to an archaeological dig in a haunted pub’s cellar. But Matt needs win over his university boss, Dr Jessica Knight. She’s in charge of the dig site but hasn’t returned his calls or replied to his texts since the university ball three weeks ago.
'And he’s also being followed by a ghostly grumpy cat that no one else seems to notice…
'Cataloguing historical finds to ward off witches in a late colonial building is the perfect project for Jessica. The spooky cellar is far removed from the distractions of campus life including Matt Cavanagh, with his full lips, talented hands, and whispered desires.
Jessica keeps telling herself what happened at the university ball was an aberration. It could never work out between them. She’s his boss, and all Matt’s energy and time is focused on his gimmicky ghost-hunting channel, and his fans.'
